Posting photos
Jalwah allows all artists to post best of their portfolio on-line for the artists seekers to search and shortlist.

To create your profile on Jalwah, create a new login and enter your details with five still photos. Your information together with your login request will be vetted by EDM back office and upon receipt of your cleared payment, your profile will be put up live and your account activated.

Artist can post 5 still photos of their choice, with one them being a prime photo that will be displayed when searching. All photos uploaded shall be checked by EDM back office for quality and decency before they are put up on the profile page.

Posting videos
Jalwah allows all artists to portray best of their performance/s by way of show reel (video) in order to impress the artist seekers. This feature of Jalwah allows all artist seekers to view audition show-reels of all artists on-line before calling them for meeting in person. This saves both time and money for both the artists and the artist seekers. Only the short listed artists are called for meetings with this process – hence with increased chance of selection, rather than current unorganized audition processes where everyone is randomly called upon for audition rounds.

Upload your show-reel using the option provided on your profile page. Your show-reel video shall be vetted by the EDM back office before it is put up live on your profile page.

Artist can upload one video of their performance of 20 seconds duration. Longer videos can be uploaded at an extra cost. Call customer service for details. All videos shall be checked by EDM office for quality and decency before they are put up on the profile page.

Every artist or technician is assigned a coordinator

    Meeting information
    Once selected, artist will receive;

  • an email with full details
  • a SMS on the cell
  • an entry on his/her profile dash board
    • Meeting date and time will be selected from the self maintained diary of an artist within the system. The artist will then have a choice to either confirm or reschedule the meeting date via Jalwah system or via EDM back office.

    Once selected, artist will receive;

  • an email with full details with offer
  • a SMS on the cell
  • an entry on his/her profile dash board
    • The artist will then have a choice to either confirm or reject the offer via Jalwah system or via EDM back office.

    Artist protection methods
    Jalwah will not allow any selection or meeting requests by anyone prior to individual or company being approved by EDM Ltd with defined and confirmed project/s for which artists are required.

    Statistical information
    1.5.1.1 Artist is given a feature to view all searches performed by production houses and other artists and technician seekers by city and category.

    Clicking on No of prod Hse digit, i.e.”10” will list the names of the 10 production houses who performed the searches in Mumbai between the specified dates, i.e. from 12th April 2009 to 23rd April 2009.

    From this information, artist will find out where the job hunt is being performed and for which category. Clicking on Number digit “200” will list the artists who qualified within the seekers search criteria. One can then use this information to update ones profile in order to increase chance of self qualification for the next searches. 1.5.1.2 Artist is given a feature to view all selections performed by production houses and other artists and technician seekers by city and category.

    From this information, artist will find out where the job placements are being performed and for which category. Clicking on Number digit “20” will list the artists who qualified within the seekers search criteria. One can use this information and go through each profile of each relevant category in order to self groom and update images and video to increase their won chance of selection in future.
